$5.00

La Ferme Tournevent is pleased to welcome Alain Olivier, professor at Université Laval, a renowned specialist in agroecology and agroforestry, as well as author of the books La révolution agroécologique and Des arbres dans nos champs, published by Écosociété. Alain Olivier leads the Interdisciplinary Research Group on Agroforestry (GIRAF) and has worked for many years to promote more resilient, sustainable, and human agricultural practices.

In a friendly and accessible format, this meeting will take the form of an open discussion centered on major current agricultural issues: soil health, biodiversity, the role of trees in agriculture, food autonomy, adaptation to climate change, and agroecological transition. Inspired by the themes explored in his books, this activity will be an opportunity to exchange ideas on concrete approaches to envisioning a more sustainable agriculture rooted in local territories.

Date: Sunday, July 19, 10:00 a.m.

Copies of his books La révolution agroécologique and Des arbres dans nos champs will be available for purchase on-site.
